Vitara low comp pistons...D15B turbo
ive been looking to buy this d15b turbo build
This is part of the "build" section of the sale.
tell me what you think of it. its running 9psi of boost daily
i wont share the price, just let me know is this a good build?
JDM D15b
fully built bottom(have the work order for it).......<----I dont know whats in the bottom end but says, "built"..
ACL race bearings speced over
micropolished JDM d15b crank
eagle rods
vitara low comp pistons
ARP rod bolts
Hasting rings
New OEM oil pump- ported for better oiling
Head was deassembled and checked over
ARP head bolts and studs
resurfaced fly wheel
Stage 3 6 puck clutch
log style turbo manifold
garrett airresearch turbo
i also googled the vitara d series builds and know they sound a bit almost like a diesel and have a slight tick to them. they all have it so i believe its normal for vitara pistons...?

Re: Vitara low comp pistons...D15B turbo
a build is only as good as the builder... "built" can mean many things... I know two year olds that have "built" things..
if everything is on the up, it sounds fine.. yes, it'll probably sound a bit like a diesel..
psi is irrelevant... 9psi on a gt35 series is much different than say a t25...
depending on the size of the turbo, it sounds like it should work out fine.. the only thing I don't see listed is upgraded injectors... you should look into that, and get it tuned...
enjoy.
