Default ???Victor X or Venom intake manifold????

Ok i am boosting my LS " greddy td05-18g uberdata chipped" and now i am shopping for a intake manifold either the Edlebrock victor X or the Venom drag manifold. from shopping around i have noticed the venom is more expensive than the edlebrock but i haven' t seen any #'s backing up the price compared to the Victor X powergains across the board at a lower price. So can you guys help a brotha out choosing a intake manifold from your boosted experiances??

edelbrock.. it should have a nicer powerband... the venom has an enormously large plenum, mostly for moving massive amounts of air, which is something you dont really have to worry about with the greddy kit, in otherwords, the venom would be overkill.

get the edelbrock, or look into the skunk2 as well

I would take a victor series, since everything hooks back up to it like throtal cable, IACV etc,.. The Venom dont have no IACV port and nothing else... Also look into the Golden Eagle IM nice stuff IMO..

you shouldnt use either. they are both too big for you application and wil suck on an ls. the edelbrock doesnt start making power until 6k-7k and i doubt you will be reving higher than that with an ls unless you have a built head and block. i think you would be better off with a skunk to or something similar
cheak out this post about somone with an ls and edelbrock mani, it was killing their power

if you are stuck on buying one of the two... get the edelbrock. i, however, feel that the skunk2 will be better for you
