Victor x Intake Manifold VS Skunk 2's
What one do you like better and why? I have a b18b1 with a drag gen 3 turbo kit and just trying to figure out what one would be best for my application and why?

the jg is way bigger and will probably like fi alot better. I have the skunk2 on my car it does ok. But I'm sure the jg would be alot nicer on my setup.

On a Non-VTec engine - I wouldn't recommend the JG. . .
I would guess that you probably won't be reving much higher than 8k - even with fully upgraded valvetrain and a head port job to support it. . . the rocker assembly on the LS head isn't something you want to push much further than 8k.
With that said. . . the most significant gains in the JG come WAAAY high up in the RPM's - even on a FI application.
You would probably lose a lot of low end and really not gain that much top end until you are nearly about to shift.
I believe that for us non-vtec guys - the Skunk2 is a better choice. With the Skunk2 you trade a little low end power for significant mid, to high range increases.
The same concept with the JG - but the power won't come on until a little later in your powerband.

it depends on when you want your power to kick it, like the other guy said for a lower redline the skunk2 would be better. i had a skunk2 on my stock bore b16a on 10lbs of boost and still ran a 13.1 spinning/hopping small slics. so i was happy with it, but something you might want to look into is the new manifold by skunk2, its like the skunk2 pro-series manifold.... suppose to make more power, but i dunno.

Looks like a much bigger plenum - runners are probably still stock.
I don't have any specs on the Pro Series Skunk2 Mani yet, but I would guess that it is very similar to the JG - and for that reason it won't be on my non-vtec engine. . . I just don't use much of the RPM range that the JG improves - more for the higher reving honda engines.
