VERY WIERD: coolant coming out of my BOV/charge pipes?
ok heres the deal... i was driving around allllll damn day and i live in az so it was HOT. and with turbo timer, and the small stops i had to make all day the car didnt get much of a breather at all...
from what it look like to me there are "splash marks" coming from the bov (greddy rs) on the charge pipes, the bottom of the hood, things like that. now the only thing that SHOULD be in those pipes is air obviously...
i pulled the valve cover, and drained the oil.. there is NO coolant in the oil...
it doesnt smoke AT ALL.
no leaks of any kind.
on to the setup.. its a jdm d15b w/14b turbo at ONLY 6 psi
is there any way the turbo itself could be leaking coolant and forcing it through my charge pipes? i mean its enough to where i have the forementioned "splash marks" but not enough to blow smoke out the exhaust.... so im baffled

Is it a ball bearing turbo? If the turbo has coolant lines it could possibly(chances are) be that. I've never heard of a blown head gasket making that happen but there wouldn't necessarily be any coolant in the oil if the head gasket is blown. Does the car over heat at all?

yeah coolant lines ARE ran to the turbo... wich is why the "could the turbo be leaking" question was asked...
and its been confirmed now... no white smoke, no smoke at all for that matter, by 2 different people i had drive behind me just incase i was missing something.

Re: (AF-P Dunc)
I'm guessing the BOV is facing up, or 'flat' on top of the pipe. If so, I'd think it was water collecting above the valve, stagnating, and then being ejected after if first blew off again.
BTW the coolant is in a sealed passage in the chra, it has no ability to bypass any seals and get into the compressor housing.

Re: (HiProfile)
i dont really see how condensation could accumilate while driving the car all day? i didnt really think of that but i dont think thats really a posibility.......
nope it doesnt sit straight up on the pipe its at about 50 deg angle.
ghetto illustration time it doesnt sit like this ll
nor does it sit like this =
it sits like this // but at a little bigger angle
