Default Very small T3?...Smaller than the super 60...options?

I'm looking for a very small T3...

- Internally gated
- can hold as low as 5psi

What are my options?

So far, I have only found places that sell the super 60.

Yup. They're available.

I have had Majestic Turbo in Waco, TX build a few for a friend.

Or to go a less expensive route, find a used one off E-bay, or in a local junk yard. Usually you can find decent ones for 10-100 bucks...

82-84.5 Saab 900 = .50 trim .48 AR T3, 4 psi wastegate
85-89 Saab 900 = same turbo, 5.5 psi wastegate.
85/86-91 Saab 9000 = same turbo, 5.5 psi wastegate

That what you were looking for?

Just grab a used one off ebay. They sell .42/.48 all day. I think theres even a place that rebuilds them on ebay. Check for user "down2turbo". I just got a super 60 from them.

I've had a T-25 setup on my old ZC for over a year before I built my new setup...

I don't like how it boosts 12psi and just blows all hot air...Mine also blew the seals just in the year that I owned it...

I'd rather just use a super small T3. I can actually find a drain flange for it as well, instead of hacking one to fit like the T-25.

This will be going on my D15 in my Daily driver hatch...I will only be boosting 4psi non intercooled.

If you want a really small turbo go with a VW 1.8T turbo. They're a Borg-Warner KKK03. Full boost (7 psi) by 1,750 RPM I want to put one of these on my girlfriend's 90 Civic Sedan 1.5L after we do a MPFI conversion.

the reason they reach full boost so low on the VW is because of 1.8l with a HUGE stroke and no bore....

not to mention 5 valves per cylinder

say on an LS motor how fast you do think the 1.8t turbo would spool? By what rpm could you reach 10psi?

Those arent super 60's. look at the specs. since when does a super 60 have a 51 trim??

.42/.48 a/r is an easy turbo to find...ebay has many b/c a lot of turbo cars came with that size....thats all i have to say about that.

I would have to say it would be very close to where it spooled on a 1.8T, given the same displacement.
