Very Interesting Question On Wastegate
Someone may think my Questions are retarded but what can a retarded do when he's lazy and doing nothing. Can a wastegate be mounted on the Exhaust Housing, meaning the Piece that connect to the downpipe, that is attached to the turbo Housing. And if You can how does it work like that. Please help retardo with this.

I am sure you could, but why you would bother with that is beyond me. Not to mention putting a big *** hole in your turbine housing.

if u put the wastegate on the downpipe AFTER the turbo it will do absolutley nothing...it NEEDS to be before the turbo, to defer the extra exhaust AROUND it, not AFTER it....

To answer you question, yes you can. You can actualy have a flange on the turbine housing for a wastegete. Turbonetics has one:
and if you think about it, an internal wg acts the same way.

He didn't say AFTER the turbine, he said ON the exhaust housing, which in reality is one of the best places to put a wastegate. You can weld a WG pipe onto the downpipe flange (on a 5-bolt housing) where the opening for an internal wastegate normally sits, and it makes for a clean install that is not very likely to have boost creep problems.
Think about it for a minute and tell me where you could tap a wastegate on your exhaust housing that would put it AFTER the turbine.

EDIT: maybe if it wasn't blurry or if he had it pictured from a different angle.
