I just started installing a Venom Manifold On my 95 gsr engine. everythings great but the IACV.

There is someone that posted running a aftermarket or external prelude IACV. I have everything set but this so anyone that knows who has done this or how please let me know i am stumped

I just made a plate that the IACV can bolt up to, then had two tubes welded to the back of it. Hang on, I'll go get pictures.

Please show me Pics I dont understant what you lean bolt up?? the gsr IACV the coolant goes inside a chamber on the IM. and thats hot there anymore with the venom manifold. so are you saying weld coolant line nipples on the chambers??

When i was sponsored by VENOM they created this custom manifold for my turbo setup they added the iacv on the back of the manifold . This was for a b16 head .
I also heard that the older gsr ( the 95 gsr has it ) have the iacv on the bottom of the throttle body like in the pic below:

why would venom not include a place to install the iavc??

The skunk2 doesn't use IACV, every body is different. You might want to call venom and check with them if this manifold is suppose to use the IACV.

Is that the Fast Idle Thermo Valve and not the IACV?

The skunk2 most deff does, thats the manifold i just took off. I have the iacv on the throttle body. there is another unit that connects to that on the back side of the intake manifold. the venom has no mountion points like the cutsom the guy made above. I need to figure out how to rig mine to the manifold somehow.

ALSO anyone know what size holes are on the back side for vacum lines??? theres 3 small 1 large... Thanks!!

my buddy has a venom d series manifold... And what he did was have my boss machine holes into the manifold for it, and nut & bolt the IACV onto the back. I'll try to get pics tonight.

I cant just bolt it on like whatever manifold you guys are talking about. If you look at the b series maifold above there is a 2 hole chamber where coolant flows out from the iacv in to the manifolds chamber then back in to it. This would be the problem..

Thanks man, i know i can make this work if i have some idea of what i need to do. I just got tuned end of summer and the car runs like stock. I dont want to retune just b.c of the iacv...

Yeah. I'm not sure if its the same exact hole location as mine (D16Y8), but if it is I might be able to have the guy that made mine make another if you're interested.

yea your right. that is NOT the iacv.

its from a b18c1 but its so close i cant see a difference
