Default VECCO Turbo Kits? Anyone?

I know most of the turbo kits on ebay are pretty crappy but this one seems to look ok anyone have any experience with these guys?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

It's mostly turbonetics stuff for the WG and Turbo (or at least thats what they claim) so it seems like a decent starter kit for the piping the intercooler and the turbo, and fueling would be up to the buyer but it doesn't look to be a bad deal/price...

only think i would change out is the manifold for a better one because its a drag style manifold, even a rev hard knock off would work good and get a downpipe since that kit doesnt really come with one. other than that its pretty good.

so if you decide to get it, change the manfold to like a rev hard knock off which is like ~$100 dollars from ebay are durable and get a real 2.5 inch downpipe from rev hard and your set!

are they made for "optimal" performance? no. but for a stock motor its not bad choice at all. especially if you want to keep ac/ps without spending a shitload of money on a stainless steel shorty manifold such as a SLS. a blox or muetek would be better because of the wastegate placement. I was just stating rev hard because it has a little bit better wastegate placement than the drag that comes with the kit and it can be bought for cheap and make better power without creep. See my sig for numbers with the rev hard knock off. its honestly not bad and made the power i wanted with out spending my savings....

I'm not sure if Vecco is the same company as http://www.TreadstonePerformance.com but the kit looks almost the same as the Treadstone one.

I'm running a Treadstone Kit and apart from the downpipe the kit is fantastic.

You can upgrade any of the components I changed the BOV to a Turbonetics raptor.

I'm making good power and my setup has been 100% reliable and has done 3000 miles now.

I'm looking to get a 3 bar map sensor and up my boost to around 15psi over the summer so I should be making nearly 300hp.

Cool thanks, I know most of the ebay kits are garbage but this one seemed to have some better components where it counted, (turbonetics turbo, wg, and such. Although I thought that mani was a revhard knockoff? the other popular cast one is more like a tubular and since cyl 1 and 4 are pointing directly at each other causes a LOT of restriction whereas this mani, and the revhard ones avoid that to some degree?

The Treadstone/Vecco turbo kits are pretty decent for the price; however, you could still piece together a comparable kit for about the same if not less money in the Marketplace. Personally, that would be my choice...i have yet to buy a "kit" for any of my 4 going on 5 setups

The piping on those kits have been a issue with a couple of guys at the shop, but other that no one has ever had any serious issuses with them atleast none that I can recall.

The intercooler piping did foul my screen wash reservoir but I'm not sure if thats because I have a EDM Accord.

Anyway it was easily replaced with a smaller reservoir from a MG Metro.
