Default varying the wide & narrow throttle settings on the vafc hack...what will happen?

since the hack involves setting the wide and narrow throttle settings the same, i was wondering what will happen if i set the narrow & wide differently, say, set narrow for part-throttle and wide throttle for WOT driving? i like to know also why the narrow and wide throttle settings have to be the same for the hack. thanks.

they don't and your better off setting them apart if you use different high+low throttle maps otherwise when your gas pedal transistions past your instant change point (if your set like 69/70) then there will be an abrupt change in maps and if there is a big difference your car will hiccup bad from the sudden change in map voltage. If you keep them spread out, the afc uses an average (read the manual) and it works smoothe. Only impt if settings (hi/lo) are diff though. If you need more info just say so i don't feel like saying anymore right now i'm tiredddd.

i have my AFC settings different between narrow and wide. my wide throttle settings were tuned on a dyno. i ran my narrow settings by setting it up to wat i thought might be best. i did part throttle runs and read my plugs and went from there. i know its not the best method but in part throttle my car runs nice. i just made sure that i was more on the rich side.

something i have been thinking about for a few days is if i could just run my narrow throttle map the same as my wide throttle map (the one thats tuned). does anyone care to give me some insight?
