Default Valve springs for 10k rpm and 40psi

So for all you 10k rpm and 40 psi guys in the drag world, what valve springs are you all using to keep it all together? We are currently using the stiffer set of the supertech springs. Just wanting to see what everyone else is using to make sure we don't run into issues.

Gsr head btw

doing the ferrea springs and valves is not a bad idea

I've been running full super-tech and it has held up to some bullshit! Im not using the high pressure.

We run supertech w/ pro 1's to 10k@40+psi in the H22 head. No problems so far, but I have heard from some people that they fatigue over time. I'm curious about this and anyone experiencing this please chime in. I would like to make a change before its too late. We'll probably pull them out and check them before next year.

All springs will fatigue over time, its inevitable. You could always take the springs off and have them tested to see if they still come close to their original seat pressure.

I would never use Supertech in a 700+hp motor, Ferrea all day 95lb seat pressure and higher.

I had my Ferrea Springs tested after having them in my head for 3yrs and they did not lose one lb of pressure from the advertised rating... they are worth every penny.

You stay a clown day in and day out... dont you have some FS threads to troll??

Numerous people have had failures running Supertech junk, run the crap if you want dont make a bit of difference to me, ask everyone who is going real fast I bet 95% of them arent running Supertech stuff unless its given to them or they directly benefit from peddling the product.

I dont rely on any info from RLZ so your boy will be of no help to me.

I don't think supertech is "junk." I have heard of some people having problems, but I have yet to personally experience any problems.

Everyone I know thats running 10k motors and over 700whp are using the ferrea valvetrain. (valves, springs, retainers, guides, lockers, keepers and seals) ALL of them have had good luck and no failures so far, knock on wood.

Ive had problems with rev valve springs. The valve springs they sent me were way to stiff and destroyed my cams rocker arms and valves which led to the valves slamming closed and cracking my ported head at the seat. Id never trust them again. I had no problems with supertech but ive heard its the same company. this was a while back also
