Default vacum lines with a internal wastegate

hey guys i am using a garrett t3 m11 turbo of an old mercedes for a project and was wondering.... do you have to run a vacum line into the line that runs from the wastegate to the nipple on the compressor housing??

Default

you don't have to, thats easiest. loop from the housing to the WG so the WG has a boost reference. You could also do it from further up stream and/or regulate it with a boost controller. If you don't use the compressor tap, then plug it.
