Most of those additives have stuff in them to soften up old rubber seals to help them seal better (like main seals). So if your leaking from those it might help.

I would replace the oil pan gasket...its really easy and a better solution than the stop leak stuff...as far as guide seals, try using thicker oil, should stop the burning.

DO NOT use that stuff!!!!! trust me, I work as an engineeer for Federal-Mogul (Fel-pro & National oil seal)
They swell all your elastomeric oil seals (as someone already said) making them seal for now, but they are wearing at a much faster rate because they have swelled. Now, as soon as you change your oil and you don't run this stuff, your leaking out of every seal you have because you've you've just toasted, or almost toasted, most of your oil seals in the engine. The reason is because the swelling has caused the seal to run more on the hydrodynamic aids (little lines on the air side of the seal) and cause more interfearance between the shaft and seal Main Lip. This is good for sealing, but once they are worn out, (this happens very quickly) your seal is history.
Change the problem seal, it's a little more effort, but well worth it a couple years down the road.

That stuff is like pouring honey into your oil. I wouldn't put it in a turbocharged car. Try some thicker oil first, 15w-50 or 20w-50.
