Upping the boost waht do I need?(SOHC)
Hey all I have a 94 civic ex 4 door That I ran 14.9 all motor and now I have a greddy turbo kit on there with a greddy FMIC. This kit came with the Emanage. Other Mods include:
Cometic head Gasket (.043) Copper sealed
ARP Head Studs
Ported Intake Manifold
Apexi N1 cat back
Greddy Type S
Gutted cat
no p/s and no a/c belts
The car is currently running .4 bar And feels ok but I have turned it up to .7 bar and it seems to stumble a little bit but still feels stronger tha at .4 bar.
However here A/F Gauge reads full rich untill it hits .7 bar then bounces around between stoich and lean.
The car has stock injectors and FPR .
Sorry My piont is that I want to know is it safe to run .7 bar with no other adjustments to fuel? Timing is around 12 to be on the safe side.
I also have no I dea what this will run so If any of you guys have times please let me know so I know what is possible. And please dont say 15.00 cause the car went 14.95 @ 91.5 N/A at Bradenton by tampa.
Thanks in advance.

so .7 bar or 10 psi = bad? The car does not ping at all. I do have a FPR w/gauge, Greddy EGT gauge, and turbo timer waiting to be intalled waiting to be installed.
I was told it was ok to up the boost alittle on the Emange is this not true? What can I run for boost (orther than 5.5 psi) with what mods i have with out ******* somthing up?

Re: (LDS)
up the boost on the emanage?do you have an e01? anyway...
if it's stubmling and showing changes on the a/f... get it tuned properly. you should be fine once it's tuned well.

well it's not really about the mods you have per se. but rather about how well the motor is tuned and the power ur making. on stock internals 200-250whp seems to be the average limit thought people have taken it further.
