Updated Pics of Engine Assembled, Turbo Mounted, Nice and Clean. :)
I'm almost there guys. It's been a year and a half now since I started. Just have the timing belt assembly and a couple hoses like you can see and then it'll start getting dropped in my car!

Thanks for all the coments!
Okay, I hope I answer all the questions here:
The Manifold is an SFP manifold. The turbo and manifold aren't painted, I had them ceramic coated.
Why do you guys think a rubber oil feed line is bad? Has there been problems with going with rubber???

with the all the added heat from the turbo you don't want the line to burst. just think of the people who have had busted a/c lines due to the w/g sitting right there next to it and/or no dumptube. but instead of spewing out free-on you would be spewing out oil. yuck!
edit: also, rubber lines expand with pressure, just like stock rubber brake lines - that's why you get a mushy brake pedal feeling. that's a good reason why people upgrade to SS brake lines

Braided lines last much longer. The rubber ones get mushy and expand from the heat.
I see you had the bottom of the WG coated too. Did you know the WG rusted or something? Ive got the same one and planning to install it soon. where did you get the coating done and how much?
Nice looking set up BTW

The VTEC port on the head has very little oil pressure only has good amount when in VTEC. Change it!!!!! 1year motor build 30 min turbo give the turbo oil don't starve it you will be sorry if you leave it that way and rubber oil feed a big no no....

Not that i'm trying to be cheap or anything but has anyone had a rubber hose that burst? I was told they're just as durable but don't last as long.

ss looks pretty. thats the only reason i think.. i mean if your using the hose for like 10 years yeah the ss will last longer..
just keep it away from the turbo housing.
