UEGO (wideband O2) Group-buy!!!
Organizing the GB was getting too complicated with all the different variations of the setup that everyone wanted and when they wanted it.
So I managed to get Doug @ Hondata to agree to sell the systems at a 15% discount over the already low MSRP prices without the need for a group-buy.
The sale ends on Friday (05/03) so get your orders in ASAP. Doug will also be selling an adapter-clip that will allow the FJO to plug straight into the factory O2 harness with no modifications (for hondas only).
I know there has been some talk of a 20% discount but thats on a 5K order and it wasnt looking like we would make it within a reasonable time frame.
This is a great deal and you would be silly to miss it. Go to the link below, add up what you need, then multiply by .85 for the price. Doug has controllers, sensors, LED displays, and install kits, the adapter-clips are $30.

Email doug@hondata.com for orders, this sale is open to non-hondata users also.

There's a lot of info and pricing on that link...what am I looking at? Which price are you referring to for the wide-band sensor to use with a Hondata?

At very least you need the CONTROLLER(CWC0002) and INSTALLATION KIT(IWC0002), some folks said they were gonna buy the WIDE BAND O2 SENSOR(SO20001) seperately, and some didnt want the LED DISPLAY(KWB0040/1).
I personally am getting the WIDEBAND O2 SENSOR KIT with RED LED DISPLAY (KWB0020). The price is $745x.85 = $633.25 (+$30 for adapter-clip).
If you have an ECU that supports data-logging there is no need to buy the controller data logging option. I am not sure how better to explain it.
You dont need the adapater-clip unless you want to avoid cutting or splicing the FJO output into your factory O2 harness.
To order just email or call doug@hondata.com 310-782-8278

Re: UEGO (ThePunk)
The FJO and the DIY unit do the same thing, it just a case of whether you want to build the unit yourself and hope you got it right or get a manufactured unit that has been fully calibrated for accuracy. There may also be issues of reliabilty and ruggedness.
I inquired about the DIY unit and he is not shipping assembled units yet, and I know the assembly isnt a piece-o-cake. But if you have time to kill I dont see why you wouldnt want to give the DIY unit a try. Doug did tell me one of his tuners had tried it and couldnt get it to work.
You can also use the same cheap NTK sensor with the FJO or the DIY unit. The only difference is that it wont have been calibration tested by FJO. It will save $100 on the price of the FJO setup.
An apples-to-apples price compare is $307 for the FJO controller compared to the component cost for the DIY which I think is ~$40 plus however many hours it take you to assemble and calibrate. You decide what your time is worth.

What is this crap?
Re: UEGO (philo)
i would love to assemble a DIY kit but i dont have a need (or the $$$) for a wideband right now. if anyone in DFW wants one of these assembled, let me know. I love doing this stuff. I can assemble and test it in a lab at work.

Damn, if its assembly and calibration you guys are worried about, I'd be glad to assemble and calibrate the DIY units and sell them as a kit for 600 shipped.

Austin - who knows that Dion is a damn good solderer and a very picky bastard when he's working on a project.

A little extra $$$ on the side...

(Also I can offer upgrading most of the internal components to .1% tolerance items for that added bit of security.)

Re: UEGO (ThePunk)
I wanted to thank Philip for doing all the work and tracking down this deal and Hondata for the deal itself.
My FJO controller was sent on Thursday. Hopefully I'll have it today.
