I'm talking the routing and where it drains. etc. you can get the adapters individually. "Silly Rabbit."

Ooooohhhh. I see now. Gotcha! Anyhow, had some downtime today as I'm waiting for the oil tee to arrive, should be here tomorrow afternoon. But, looked over getting rid of my power steering pump and I believe that's coming out tomorrow whilst I wait for the tee! That will free up some decent real estate so I can remount my Hallman. I'll be ordering the components for BBG prior to the dyno so that will be ready when the day comes. Also looking into higher octane fuel. There's no E85 available less that 2 hours in ANY direction but, I can order race fuel. It's costly stuff but, I can make 15 gallons of 104 octane with 5 gallons of 110 mixed with 93. Think it was 1:3 ratio.. I think 104 should be ok with 9.0:1 - 9.3:1 compression.

I am not a fan of any "T" for a turbo feed line... or any additional accessory at the oil sending unit port... especially since it is 1/8" BSPT instead of NPT. The difference is difficult to tell visually since one is 27/1 and the other is 28/1 (threads per inch). They will both appear the same when you have only turned it four or five turns. There is simply too many parts and the mass gets heavy... even if you didn't break it now, it WILL break later. Get a sandwich plate oil filter adapter OR an oil pump primary fitting and run the oil feed directly off the pump... and leave that little old oil pressure idiot light switch alone in that silly British threaded hole.

Just for my own knowledge, can you show an example or describe this more? I'm running a GE sandwich plate, so not looking at changing, I'm just curious.

they make in-line oil filter so it's not needed, but I can't use one of those plates since I'm running an oil cooler.

I really do like the idea of filtered oil to the turbo.. Sigh.. Another part to buy I suppose...

There is a factory plug/cap in the end of the oil pump primary passage pointing toward the firewall/alternator. The primary passage runs between the pump gear and the inlet port on the block... a straight shot rearward and turns 90' toward the block... sealed with an O-ring against the block's oil pump mating surface. The plug/cap merely seals the end after machining. Removing this component and replacing it with a different type that has a 1/8" NPT threaded hole in the middle allow one to use a 90' 1/8 NPT male to 3 or 4 AN male elbow which you then connect your turbo oil feed line (adding in a Forced Performance inline oil filter if you desire) or in my case, a soft 4AN braided line which gently loops out to meet the oil pressure gauge sending unit mounted to my firewall so it is isolated from vibration. Motorvations manufactures these fittings... you can check with them if interested.

That makes sense. Which oil pressure sending unit are you running? I've got my AutoMeter sending unit directly on the sandwich plate...maybe I should look at relocating it to the firewall with a braided hose as well?

You should absolutely relocate it. Though it may not seem heavy, the vibration will run its course sooner than later. Remote mount

you can mount it near the access panel, with a small nut and bolt so it's secure.

You can't see it but I mounted it in the pictured location. I used a short sheet metal screw and just zapped it there.

Haha! But the EF owners have an advantage over the others.. If they happen to run out of gas or break down, they can always just carry the car home with some backpack straps.

So I want to shorten my oil feed hose and the easiest way without purchasing a new one entirely would be using a hose splice barb pictured below..

Would this interfere with the feed pressure any?

Same style sending unit as mine. I talked to Greg and he is going to put the remote mount parts in the box with the turbo kit. Thanks for the heads up.

Now that I have removed my power steering, I've realized the bracket is still useable. I'm thinking it would be good as a repurposed MBC mount location. In its raw form right now, I see it has potential...
