lemme get this straight, we can get a little 4 cylinder turbo to put out ~400 or so on pump gas, then a twin turbo v-8 can only do over 1100? sad, sad i tell you

1200 is still alot more that 400 and the car runs 8's. volumetric efficiency, hp per litre, dyno sheets and 11 second time slips takes a back seat. to a 8 second timeslips and manufactuer warranty. dont hate

i'm no math major but...

1200 / 5.7 > 400 / 2.0

hp/liter is at the very *least* right inthe ballpark... not bad for 2 valves per cylinder pushrod motor.

I would drive that ANYDAY over a turbo Honda. Sorry, you have to give credit where it is due. How many other REAL daily drivers, can run 8's with just a slick change? Not to mention idle, and have a functioning a/c and power everything?

Thats not a Lingenfelter in the video you're talking about. I was already corrected on this by someone else. Just a Z06 spraying.

if it stays together for more than a couple months.

edit:
and its 1100 on race fuel, not pump gas.

I think the full-race S2000 hit 500 whp and change on pump gas.
I think it was a 2.1 or 2.2 at the max.

with the vette at 7.0liters its doing ok.

as far as longevity goes, Im not sure which would last longer

that old video you are talking about. probabaly has a lingenfoter part on it. maybe an intake manifold or something. just like when you buy a skunk2 product u get a sticker. nt all lingenfelter productus are forced induction. the 427cid TT vette in this thread is one of maybe 5 in America. they are very rare. they didnt make many of them.
