To the best of my knowledge, there is not a twin screw charger for a reverse rotation engine, as the D/B series are. Whipple makes the twin screw and I've contacted them about a reverse rotation charger to which they replied they do not make them.

You can either swap to a foward rotation engine (F20/22C, K), or reverse the rotation of your D/B/H. To reverse the rotation will require a lot of work. Cams, oil pump, transmission, etc.

As far as the Lysholm charger goes, you can get it in a silenced version.

dont quote me on this but from what i remember when i was doin my research the vortec does not hit full boost until redline and jackson racing hits it by like 2200rpm. vortec is a dyno queen where the j/r has more usable power threwout the rpm range. i got a j/r for my del sol vtec just havnt put it on yet need some more stuff. hondata has a dyno sheet for a b16 stock w/ j/r runin 8 lbs puttin like 210 to the wheels i think. hope i helped a little. p.s. go to the boost forum and there is a really good thread for j/r its like 370+ pages good luck

eaton makes a good supercharger. not sure if they make a twin screw, the twin screw producces more hp than the roots. you could get a supercharger from a thunder bird and use that, it would be alot of modification but anything is possible

Debate: supercharger vs boost

Conclusion: Turbo=boost. Supercharger=boost. Off topic argument: Turbo is superior to supercharger

If you're unswayable from supercharging, look into the Jackson Racing Superchargers. They're supposed to be a good brand as far as the chargers go. Otherwise, look into the powergains given by turbo applications. You should know both sides to the argument before you make your decision.

I remember seeing a Type R in a magazine a while back. It was hitting like 350WHP with a vortech supercharger. It ran like 14sec 1/4 mile.

The vortech does not make very much useable power.
