Default Turboxs RFL BOV

It flutters then whoosssshhh. Is it supposed to do that? or do i need to tighten or loosen the spring? Thanks,

btw...i already put in 3 washers to make it tighter.

shouldnt flutter......

ive only heard them on DSMs but **** thats easily the loudest BOV ive EVER heard

Mine doesn't flutter at all. How much boost are u running? try and put in a washer or two.

hell yeah, i stuck one on a Greddy powered Sol and a 8 psi it sounded like 10 rigs pulled the air brakes at once.

so the more washers you put.. the less flutter?.. wont the air be harder to come out?.. i'm new to this..

my friend has one on his accord at 7 psi and it flutters when you are not on the gas all the way. when u shift regular (not reving very high) it flutters, but when u really get on it thats when it is loud as heck. its like a million pepsi bottles open at once.

My Friends Saab has one and it is sooo loud. when you see people jump walking along the sidwalk you know it's loud. He was once pulled over for it. He is runnning 18-20 psi on his car

yeah my friend has one on his gsx and another on his wrx, its a loud *** bov, sounds nice too, im kind of thinking i should have gotten it, but i like the sound of the HKS

Its the only bov I've ever had on my car so I don't have anything to compare it to. But at 15psi is pretty damn loud. Mine does flutter at part throttle but not at full throttle at all.

I'm boosting 10psi, at part throttle it flutters like it should. At a full 10psi it flutters then it gives the loud *** whooosh rite after. I tried putting 3 washers in, it did nothing. I guess i'll try to put more in.

i really like this BOV, sounds really nice.

hey hybrid, the bov doesnt flutter even at 7.5psi? and do u have any washers in it? Thanks.

Any suggestions as to y it flutters then whoosh??? I tried 1 washer, then 2 and so forth...still does it...when i put 5 washers in, it only fluttered. Any suggestions would be appreciated....thanks.

Do you have a good vacume source? My Blitz won't work right unless I T into the PCV live to get my vacume.

Yea, i got it to work now. I tee'd it into a different vacuum source. Now it doesnt hold boost rite after i shift fast. I must need washers to make the spring tighter. Thanks for all the help guys
