Default turboxs dual stage hp mbc help

I'm trying to install my turboxs dual stage high performance boost controller on my integra.

This is my first turbo install, and it's gone really rocky.
The turbo kit I bought wasn't made for my car so I've had to modify EVERYTHING.

Final after about a week of scrounging up parts, I've gotten everything isntalled, except my boost controller.

I got all of the vacuum hoses done, and all that, just one last step...

It says to connect it to a fused 12 volt power supply.. What exactly does that mean?

I'm assuming that it means that I need to run an inline fuse to an ignition source or something like that, is this correct?

Does it matter what wire I tap into as long as its a 12 volt ignition wire?

Thanks alot,
Charles

It means you need to hook it up to a 12v switched (only on with key on) power. There is male spades on top of the fuses on the block box under the dash. Test the ones that have power with key on.

Hope that helps.

fused just means make sure you have a fuse close to where you tapped for the power supply incase something happens. and the mount the switch somewhere and route your other wire to the BC. you can get the power from the battery or somewhere from the ignition. you choose

The safest route that most anyone can find (and likely knows about) is the 12v switched/fused wire for the stereo. You can run that out to the engine bay. No matter what you'll need to run a wire out to the engine bay, so it might as well be something you know. I suggest the switched power supply so that its not powering the solenoid 24/7 while the car is off if you always have it switched to high boost. Its not like an industrial coil thats designed to be powered for years continuously.
