I'm routing the vac lines from my TiAL 44mm WG to the turbosmart "boost tee"

On the turbosmart "boost tee", there is an arrow, do I want that arrow/vac line going to the top port or the bottom port on the wastegate?

In the instructions they have it going to the top port but the pic is of an internal WG.

This is for an Dual stage Turbosmart boost controller....didn't have the cash for the eboost.

i'm not sur ehow the 44mm is set up, but on my 38mm i hav eno boost controller, and my line is going to my intake piping a little before the TB, to the top port on my WG, the bottom port must be for the boost controller.

As far as I know, (used to have a turbo smart and tial 38mm) you use a manual ball and spring/bleed type inline with the line from the manifold or turbo and attach it to the bottom port on the wastegate. The top port is used for an electronic boost controller when the bottom is hooked straight to the manifold or compressor.
