Default Turbor or SC an auto d16z6

Hi,

Pls give opinions which would be better? reliability? power gain? it will both be set at 5-6 lb boost...

this is for a 93 sol si..

Thanks..pls dont say dont turbo an auto...or do manual swap ...thx again...

Even though they make their boost at somewhat different points in the rpm range, I would say that at the same max boost level the turbo will always win because (a) you can easily intercool a turbo, and (b) a turbo doesn't sap crank hp to make boost. Of course this is all extremely dependent on the supporting mods and tuning that you do, but I think it is fair to say that for equal investment a turbo almost always wins and it definitely has better future upgrade potential.

thx for the replies...keep them coming...

definitely will get the tranny cooler...someone will install it for 1600 parts included..greddy kit with IC and tranny cooler, bov, mbc...

the SC, will be around 1200 shipped..used as well...but i will do the install (not sure if i am that diy)

shoot if you can get it for 1600 installed go for it! thats a deal if the parts are in good working condition

Turbocharged manuals are more fun haha sorry, had to put that one in there

but mos def turbo man, supercharged honda vs turbo honda(mod for mod, boost lvl for boost lvl), turboed honda will always win
