Icon2 turboing my da9 need help

ok i have everything to turbo my teg and i was just wondering if i could run an fmu till i get it tuned just so i can drive it but how safe would that be and would it run right and would i need to get a mbc to keep my boost down? i have a t3t04e garrett turbo 450cc injecters with a stock fuel pump but planing on getting a walbro 255 fuel pump soon

How much of a risk do you want to take? You might be able to get away with it, but after spending the time and money to get all the parts etc do you really want to take a chance in blowing something? I would just have it towed to the tuners unless you could just pull the wastegate spring or something and just not run any boost until you can get it up there.

it would work to pull the spring i didnt know that thanks just wondering what would possibly happen if i just threw an fmu on there to try out to see how the turbo pulls

yeah just pull the spring. thats a good choice. dont go with your option 1. thats a dump choice ha. not worth possibly the motor and more money out of pocket just to see how the turbo pulls now is it?
