no one on earth has ever turbocharged a Civic. I really don't know what this forum is doing here.
As far as that turbo goes, it depends on your goals. I'd say it's a good size turbo for the stock internal limits but i don't know if you plan to go further than that. What kit are you looking at?

Re: turboing a 95 Civc D16? help (njn63)
I just recently turned 17 and know very little about cars, im just trying to find something that will gain alot horsepower. heres the description of the kit.
Hybrid T3 T04E 5-bolt Turbocharger( .50 Compressor A/R / .70 Turbine A/R)
Fully polished compressor housing (very professionally done)
3.0" Inlet / 2.0" Outlet
Oil cooled shaft & internals
Turbine wheel specs:
Exducer measures 2.48"
Mayor measures : 2.89"
Compressor wheel specs:
Exducer measures: 2.07"
Mayor measures: 2.36"
This turbo is comparable to a turbonetics T58 turbocharger. It can handle up to 28 lbs of boost and make well over 500 horsepower depending on the application. We recommend a professional installation.
Custom designed stainless Steel 321 tubular manifold (includes gaskets and bolts)
5-bolt stainless steel downpipe (bolts to any catback)
38mm Polished Wastegate + 2 additional stiffer springs
TurboXS Blow off Valve
Bar and plate intercooler (very little pressure drop)
Aluminum 2.5" Intercooler Piping (comes polished)
All necessary silicone hoses and T-bolt clamps for installation
if you have any different ideas, i am open for any suggestions.
thanks

what brand is the turbochrager?sounds like a cheap ebay kit to me!what are your hp goals?that turbo is pretty big, i recommend getting something smaller unless you plan to do 300whp.

you want a t3 turbo, no t4 or anything that says it can make like 500 hp. t3 does the job. find one from like a saab or something. you can also use the turbos that come on the eclipse gsx turbo models
