turboed GSR still not running right
I have purchased a missing link from inline pro and installed it to no affect. i am still throwing a code for a map sensor, and it is still cutting off at various rpms. I have a v-afc and i dissconected it and ran the car with FMU and missing link it still cuts off when it gets to 7000 rpms. i would like to know if anyone else has turboed a GSR and had similar problems. has anyone ever heard of the car just cutting power? i am just trying to figure out what is causeing my car to shut down.

Here are you basic setups...
1. FMU, missing link, stock injectors.
2. AFC, NO missing link, 440/450cc injectors, but it does nothing for ignition retard, it actually advances the timing.
3. Chipped ECU, NO missing link, whatever injectors you want, takes care of everything.
Your GSR is a fairly expensive motor, so I would defintely look into getting your ECU chipped and run one of the free ROM editors out there (uberdata). Or if you feel like spending the money some other kind of program (hondata). You can also go with a full stand alone (aem ems).

Is it possible that you installed the missing link upside down?
Beerbong, I do not believe there is currently a free rom editor for OBD-2 is there? TE is OBD-0, and Uber is OBD-1, correct?
He is going to have to run Hondata if he wants more control. And I would stick with the FMU over the hack.

word; and if you're not stupid about it then you can sell your afc and afford the stuff to convert and a cheap rom burner and a few roms
