It depends on your goals? If your wanting a low boost application mainly for street
i personally think is overkill.

My goal is to have a fast daily driver. And i dont want monster lag i want just enough lag to reduce tire spin. when do you think i will hit full boost with a beast like this?

my opinion is no you wont.. that turbo is really big and needed for high horsepower applications like the auction says

If you are concerned with lag then that turbo would not be good for you, I bet it spools up by about 5000rpm on a stock GSR motor. It is overkill for a stock motor, a T3/60-1 with a .63 A/R turbine would be much better for you actually. That would be more for a car that you would race and want say 500whp from imo. A friend had that turbo and made 565whp on his stock sleeved block GSR with just SRP pistons and Eagle rods.

now there is a chance the one i might possibly buy is ball bearing (not the one in the auction but the one i want) that would probably change things drastically

About 500rpm sooner for spool time BUT still overkill for what you want BUT BUT BUT I always say go bigger than what you want BECAUSE YOU WILL WANT MORE POWER LATER! TRUST ME!

DD's are nice... there is a lot to play around with! while A cups you dont have much to play with! great i love it..
atleast go w/ a B cup that way you can always inhance them if its not enough for you...

It's too big if you don't plan to spray in order to spool it. Otherwise it'd make the perfrct front half of a hybrid. Get your self a nice t3 turbine on the hot side any that turbo would be perfect..
