i have been debating both on my b18c for a while now.
so whats easier to install a turbo kit or supercharger?

a turbo setup is probably going to take about 2x as long because there are just more pieces to it....having said that, it is definately worth the extra effort

like how long would typical install take on a b18c for turbo and supercharger?
im lookin to make around 250whp and i know the vortec supercharger kit puts you right around that and thats with stock internals.

The thing with supercharges is this...they CAN make a given amount of power, but once you hit that limit, you are stuck. There is no way to make more power on them; whereas, a turbo setup can be easily upgraded. I would build a simple turbo setup and once you get bored of that power level, which will happen, upgrade it.

For the price of a Vortec supercharger, which IMO is the worst supercharger for a Honda, you could easily build a good turbo setup...and if youre worried about how long it takes to install, then youre not ready to have either system because they do require some knowledge and care once in a while....IMO if youre lazy, then just drive the car as is

If the state you live in does not have emissions testing, there is NO REASON to buy a Greddy kit. For the price you could build something SO much better...hell id sell you my setup for the price you'll pay for that Greddy setup...and mine is good for a hell of a lot more power!

Its worth it to you to look around and investigate your options before settling with something...especially that Greddy kit...
