Re: turbo VS Supercharger (zenon8890)
Go Supercharger. Had A B16 Turbo and it was great, But now that i have my B20 GSR w/ a Jackson Racing Supercharger. I love it. Its reliable, makes gobs of torque and plenty of hp. Easy to hide if you plan hiding it to race someone on the street. Just dont pop your hood and dont go racing around parking lots, you just keep it quiet and they'll never know what hit them. And around where im from its not expected. So its pretty cool to go whining by some STIs and SS CAMROES! Makes for an easy day. So my opinion. Supercharger if you wanna be able to drive your car more than you work on it.

Do what you can with the money you have and what you want to do with the car...
As for the supercharger VS turbo, there are plenty of threads bashing each other. I love my JRSC and I doubt I will ever go turbo because of my reliability factor with my supercharger...going 3 years strong daily driving now with no problems..

This is the crap I heard all the time on boards, and that's what convinced me to buy a Vortech kit. With a vortech, this couldn't be further from the truth. With a JRSC, they do have a great powerband, but so does a reasonably sized turbo.
