Default Turbo Vaccum Line Question

My friend bought a Turbo kit and he keeps annoying me over this question. He wants to know were all the vacuum lines go on the turbo kit. Ive searched for him, and i have looked at pictures but no luck. He doesn't know were they all go, and i actually dont either L0l. He has a stock 91 Si Hatch. Another thing he wants to know if he can run stock injectors with just a FMU?.

People run the stock injectors on a FMU, and it is frowned upon. He is going to need a vacuum line from the BOV to Intake Manifold. For the wastegate, you need one to go to a vacuum source, such as Intake Manifold or a Vacuum Manifold which can be bought cheap. The other line from the wastegate has to go to the turbo. Does your friend have oil lines and return too?

And it was an easy search.

Usually its the side hole, as that pushes the diaphram & valve up. Just make sure the BOV, wastegate, and boost gauge come all from the same area. The best way is with a vacuum manifold connected between the brake booster and intake manifold. Various parts of the pressurized system can see slightly different pressures.

so a line from the bov, wastegate, and boost gauge would go on one line, FMU on a different line? also i herd bigger lines are better?

the the top of the wastegate, if i dont have a boost controller do i close the hole or leave it open

and for the springs in the wastegate, the harder the spring the higher the psi and the softer the spring the lower the psi?

if you have a boost controller what springs to use?

vacuum is vacuum, it doesn't matter wher eyou tap it as long as you don't use the IAB vac source on GS-R

If your friends runs a manual boost controller...

He needs to TEE off the BC in between the bottom port of the WG and the Compressor housing or any vac source

If he runs a electronic boost controller, then he needs to run the boost source from the top port of the WG to the BC solenoid.

Hope this helps..
