Default Turbo Type R EK-T Lots of pics-(56k warning)

Whats going on guys, here are a few pics of my friend's newly boosted EK-T.

Setup
-JDM B18C-R==>11.1:1 Compression
-T3/t04e 50trim
-JG intake manifold
-Drag Manifold
-Custom 2.5 dp
-Drag Intercooler
-Vortech FMU/check valves/MSD High pressure inline and Walbro high pressure intank fuel pump
-HKS SSQ BOV
-Turbonetics DeltaGate
-Apex'i VAFC
-HKS Hiper exhaust 2.5catback

He is currently street tuned by o2 wideband. His A/F is 11-12 across the board and is running 5.5 psi. And guys, before you flip a wig and ask why is he running such a crappy fuel setup on a Type R motor, he is upgrading soon. We have no hondata tuners in Oklahoma, and so he is waiting on me to get boosted, which is going to be in June. By that time we'll be going to Dallas to get tuned by VSV motorsports. But for now, I do have a question to ask, If you guys notice he is not running a missing link. He was running that initially, but he had some idling problems, Rubin @ Trizone Motorsports custom made him some check valves, and it solved the problem. Anybody have any ideas as to why the missing link gave him idle problems? The missing link used was a synapse missing link.

beautiful car and nice engine setup, just one question.

WTH didn't you center the freakin honda emblem on the hood?

Neway, my guess is that some piece of trash or dirt or somn got stuck in the missing link..or maybe it was just bad?

The stock map sensor should handle at least 12-14 psi with out throwing a code.... mines stock and i run 14.9 no codes. Oh and also about your tuning problem.... Have you considered Uberdata....
Just my two cents....
Awsome car me likes me likes

Thanks for the reples...he will be running Hondata/s200b/RC 310s by late June. As for the missing link...it was in correctly. Either way..the check valves solved the problem..lol...I guess it won't matter in June anyways.

Very nice car. Tell him to keep an eye on his boost gauge. Deltagate + Drag = Spike

I believe the reason he got 310s was because he had a good deal on them. He told me he bought them for 200 bucks brand new "never used." Either way..he was only looking for 8psi max on that stock bottom end. So he figured 310s would be plenty for that kind of goal.
