I was wondering what a turbo type r with 350whp run on drag ridials on the 1/4 mile. Would it be abloe to beat a rx7 what runs 12.5 on street tires in a street race

you would probably run the same time as the rx7
if your on radials you'll have traction problems no matter\

but with that amount of power low 12's should be more like it.
if you were to race on slicks 11's is a shoein

it all just depends, but I would say 11's with slicks and 12-13's with street tires depending on traction, driver, etc.....

Is there any way i can improve traction on the streets?

2.0 typer engine sleeved by GE
Endyn 9.0-1 pistons and rods
Max rev kit
hondata stage 2
Radius arms
rc 550
greddy profec b
CM stage 3 clutch
im gonna boost 8 lbs in 1st 2nd gear and 17lbs in third
I think i could get into the 400whp range with this setup
From 0 to 100 who do you think would win I heard rx7 have mad wheel hop and arent that good for low end but killer on top end.

Ohh I just picked up the type r 3 days i got it dirt cheap 6,000
Got it a a dealer auction all that was missing was the wings and front seats

sticky *** tires BFG drags
good clutch

and then its all up to you
your burnout, your launch, your shifting

rx7's murder in all ranges....their lightweight they have turbo and power
their rear wheel drive....their launch is great, their topend is great....

their even one of the best autox cars but thats another story

i wish you the best of luck.......but i don't think you'll be running 12.50's. you'll have alot of wheels spin, hop, and too much weight. i'd say you'll be close though....maybe 12.80-12.90.

and with the profec b........run your low boost only in 1st. the second you shift into 2nd, hit the button. ( i used to run a similar set up)
