turbo timer and o2/ a/f acting weird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i tried to hookup my turbo timer today and it didnt work properly. There are 2 main thick wires that are of oberservation. I know foir sure which wires are the o2, ground, 12 constant, and brake, but i dont know what these other 2 are. There are 2 big wires that go into the harness so i tapped into those and the timer went on, even with the car off and when i turnedit on then off the timer stayed on, and didnt count down. So i switched the 2 wires the other way around and it seemed to work properly(the tt went on when the car started and counted down when the car was off, but it didnt keep the car running.) So i have a tt that doesnt keep the car on for 30 secs after. it just shuts off. Also the a/f function under the apexi turbo timer isnt going on. I have o2 and ground connected, and the o2 reads like .92 but the a/f just has lines going through it where the display should be. What is the o2 and the a/fsupposed to read when on? thanks guys

Go to http://www.greddy.com and use their instructions for the turbo timer. Use the diagram they have for the ignition wiring, it's much simpler. a/f should read around 14.5-7 and o2 is usually under 1. Trust me, the readings are very off anyways (I have compared it with a wideband) so I wouldn't even bother with it. Get your timer to work together first. You did splice into the ignition wiring didn't you?

yeah i think,
it's wierd, im messing with it and it seems there are 3 constants? wtf. am i missing something. I am trying all the possibilities but i just dont know. let me try some more.

is there 3 12v constants or i am i f---in crazy? I chck the plug with the voltmeter, and with the key out of the ignition, i have 12 volts from three different wires. What the **** is that. is this right? if there are 5 wires in the plug, and 3 of them are 12 constants, then the other 2 must be acc, and ignition right, so i plug the blue wire to what appears to be ignition, and the green wire to what appears to be on, and the tt still doent keep the car running. whats up?
