Turbo or supercharger
I did a search, but i never seem to get anything useful. So i have a 98 ex, running a d1678, and im wondering if you guys think itd be better to go with a turbo kit, or supercharger. Im not looking to build a race car, but i need a bit more power than i have, and nos just isnt practical...any input?

if youre just looking for a little more pep, then a supercharger might be a better choice for you... it is less in depth and probably overall less expensive than a turbo install, but you wont have the same power potential as you would with a turbo... just remember use good engine management....
also... if you are running a small shot of NOS it wouldn't have a negative effect on ur engine, given it is used, and installed properly... good luck whatever you do

Re: (Vtaaak y0)
Thanks, there was some real good info in there, they talked a lot about reliabilty, but why/ and or how is a supercharger more reliable than a turbo? if you but a supercharger, theres nothing you can really upgrade is there?
