Which turbo for stock GSR?
I'm having a little trouble picking a turbo for my GSR. The motor itself is 100% stock. My goal is to have about 275-300 whp because the motor is stock and this is my daily car. Here is what I have so far: SpoolinPerformance ramhorn manifold, 3inch downpipe, intercooler with all piping, Tial wastegate and BOV. I know I'm missing parts but I just dont know what turbo to get. I know that I want it to be a Garrett T3/T4 non-bb. I just don't know which one would help me accomplish my goals and still allow room to up the boost later. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

50 trim all the way. people will tell you 57 trim but they only say that because they dont know any better.
to help you make that desicion, im making 345WHP on my bone stock GSR @10psi from a 50 trim.

would be fine for his "current" goal but he also noted he wanted "room to up the boost later" so i would suggest bigger as in the 57.
i love my 60 on my GSR.
oh and DAMN 345 at 10psi. isnt that in a CRX? i'd like a test drive in that.

actually a 50 trim flows more air then a 57 trim 48lbs/min compared to 45lbs/min. not sure why 57 trims are even popular. only honda people use them.
and yep its in an 1900lb CRX. its fun to say the least (good powerband). its making its 1/4 mile debut on saturday.

Re: Which turbo for stock GSR? (GSR-(soon to be)T)
I just got a 94 GSR for a daily driver and I have a good old maxrev manifold laying around that I want to put to use. I was set on an SC34 or 57 trim turbo but the good old 50 trim sounds good too. I am in the same boat 275-300 hp.
I got my 2jz 240sx for when my daily driver gets boaring.

Re: (Schister66)
I have a Precision SC 34 (57 trim) on my GSR. She made 275whp @ 7psi with a cat, now I'm thinking about the 50 trim after seeing the above posts.....

This is a good turbo to look at.
