Turbo sizing for 1st gen civic 1200
Looking for some input from you guys who understand turbo sizing well..
I'm looking to turbo a really nice old 77 1200cc honda civic I've owned for a long time. I know I'll need to fabricate manifolds and an EFI conversion, probably use an SDS or Megasquirt setup. In case you aren't familiar, this is the cross flow hemi head all aluminum 2 valve engine they used back in the 70's, it's an EB2 version number. I've done lots of turbo swaps and tuning on nissan Z's, just never on an engine this small.
I've looked at some of the smaller IHI turbo's but not sure which would work
well.

I'm not looking to set the world on fire with it, it's going to be a street car. I've toyed with the idea of a later model engine swap but looks like a BIG hassle in a 1st gen car. In stock trim the engine has like 55HP and there was a JDM EFI turbo version of this engine which made 110HP which I'd be happy with but looking for more like 125. I want -really- fast spool and if it was done at 6000-6500RPM, that would be fine with me. Probably only going to run 7-8PSI. Any ideas? Does the RHF3 look like it would work OK for what I'm talking about or would I need a RHF4? I hope the RHF3 would be OK as I have a limited amount of space to deal with under the hood. Does anyone else make a turbo this small?
BTW I do own a hot Z car which sure makes this old honda seem WAY too slow to even drive anymore. :-)
