Can anyone help with this please!:

I am building a turbo motor for my EG civic. The turbo lump im putting is a B18C Type r. The electrics and loom on my car is OBD1 and i have changed most of the sensors on the OBD2 type r motor to OBD1 sensors.

The problem is on my OBD1 wiring loom there is a sensor meant for the back of the intake manifold called the PURGE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE- its a little mushroom type thing thats bolted to the back of the intake, BUT on the TYPE R intake manifold there is no fixing bracket or pipe coming off the intake manifold to fit this! It looks like the OBD2 motors dont have one????

Any help on what to do would be great.

Here's an idea...use the OBD1 EVAP purge solenoid.

just use an obd1 purge solenoid? on obd2 cars they're around the fuel rail area.

But does any one know any links or sites that give a good step by step instructions on how to set up the emmisions systems and venting the blocks on turbo hondas, there seems so much conflicting info.
