there was a guy locally in a c5 that had that happen. Not as extreme as all four falling off but he had one fall off. The wheel actually rolled through the timing lights to finish the run for him haha.

OMFG!! that is crazy.

All 4 coming out like that I would only expect in a comedy show or something. For this to happen in real life is just unimaginable but **** does happen.

He probably got caught up in the excitement and stuff. Boy I hope no one touched his car or else he will start blaming everyone and not himself.

I don't want to laugh but i can't help it....too funny.

I bet he had aftermarket wheels or wheel spacers and had 1 or two threads per lug.

From what I've heard is that the lugnuts were the wrong diameter/pitch, so they felt tight and stayed on ok during normal driving but then this... yeah.

It makes me so sad, I love FD RX7s and those RPF1s. I'm not sure if it was a shop's fault or his, but it is a major bummer either way.

Yes that is what they think happened. Just a little bit off in size and sheared the studs off. It hurt me so much to see that, I love the FD. I cant wait to tune my friends this weekend, LS6 equipped too

that sucks. looks like the studs sheered off. you can see them counting them and sitting them next to the rotors. the lugs look like they are all still attached to the studs.

sucks for him for sure.
