Turbo running but smoking really bad...
I just started the car this morning and it smokes really bad. I mean bad...
I have a homemade turbo (14B) boosting only 3lbs.(just to get it going... hopefuly 11lbs. when everything is done). On a built ZC motor. It didn't smoke before so I know is not the motor...
Now can this be caused by too much oil going into the turbo??? And if so how could I regulate the flow rate??? Any ideas... Plus, does anyone know if I could use some kind of fitting for the inlet/oulet oil lines???
I don't think(hope) the turbo is bad(leaking oil) I used the original oil line(metal with the banjo cut off) and then connected a SS line from the back of the block.
I don't have a digi camera so I won't be able to post pics. If I haven't been clear enough please let me know.
