Re: (mattEG)
Ummm do you want me to pretend I am writing an essay for you to try to help out?
I have a built bottom end RSX and looking to boost 25lbs and looking for the best turbo for this kind of application. What was so hard to understand?

25psi doesnt mean ****. you could run 25psi on a t3 or 25psi on a pt67. We need specific goals, what power levels are you aiming for? What is your setup WITH DETAILS. Not just, oh i have a built bottom end rsx, whats been done to it? sleeves, bore, etc?

Re: (wantboost)
Ok My goal is to make 500-550whp. I dont want a track only car so power must be able to be delivered on street on Drag Radials as well. I have an AVCR for boost by gear so it must also deliver decent power at lower psi.
Im probably gonna redline at 9k or so so spool time should be adequate based of that.
My bottom end should be able to handle it. I have crower cams, retainers, springs. 3inch dp, exhaust.
1000cc Injectors.
I am looking for recommends based off spool time, power delivery and efficiency.
Thanks

88mm GT40R !@
J/K Alberto. Glad to see you want to step it up. If it were my car and those were my power goals I would definitely look into a GT35R. Also, talk to "Boosted Hybrid". He has a build similar to your's.

Im going to have to agree - gt35r/sc61/gt61 etc would be a nice choice.

Re: Turbo RSX 25lbs Turbo Advice (liam821)
tnx fellas obviously the gt35r is the most expensive of the ones mentioned
whats the advantages over the sc61? gt61?
is it only the faster spooling due to dual bb?
does it justify the cost?

Wait a minute, are you saying that having cams, retainers and springs is considers a built bottom end? Little confused.

At this point, i didnt even bother.
Not one of those components listed applies to your bottom end.

Re: Turbo RSX 25lbs Turbo Advice (jsimon9633)
Dont worry about it Alberto. That's just Honda Tech for you sometimes. Everyone asking about his bottom end ... He has forged pistons, rods, balanced crank, new bearings, gaskets, etc. with less than 2,000 miles. The discussion about his bottom end is WAY off topic. He simply asked for suggestions regarding his turbocharger. Alberto, the best thing todo now would be to contact Arturbo, Boostfed, ForcedAir, TheShodan and/or Boosted Hybrid. They are all Precision dealers and can recommend a turbocharger for your application/goals. I would post about the SC61/GT35 but I have to get going so I can help Chris with his car.

I know you from CRSX . I'm a fan of the GT61 if I had to choose one of the three earlier mentioned. Quicker spooling than most, insane high end, enough lag that you could drive it on the street without shredding tires going away from every stoplight.
What manifold are you going to be using?

Re: Turbo RSX 25lbs Turbo Advice (jsimon9633)
SC61 = teh best... Hands down... Of course the GT35R will spool better, but on the street, that will just make you lose traction sooner... ya feel me???
I love my sc61....
