Yeah, what the heLL is that thing?

Most people don't usually build a type R block though. It costs too much. Unless it came with the car, but then I would swap a built block in, and keep the original stock.

I have two built Type-Rs here what is your question? The bearings are way different on the Type-R verses GSR or LS.

Gona be boosting my 99 ITR with a semi built block, Im looking on making around 350 HP range with hondata and an SC61

here's the basic rundown:

B18C1 block
ITR head
9:1 Weisco
Eagle rods
ARP head studs

if all else fails I've sent my original ITR block to GE for a 2L build up

PM nekkedR. he has GE 83mm sleeves, arais pistons, eagle rods, OEM honda bearings. I am not sure if I forgot anything so IM him. I am building my block over next winter and my set up will be similar. he did melt a rollerwave when it was 81mm but he thinks it was from a faulty injector. since he got the new set up and new injectors(old were RC660's, new precision 1000cc's) he has had no problems(knock on wood)
