OK I have a 93 Delsol it is soon to have a D16Y7 5 speed engine put into it. What my question is would be can i put a Turbo that I had gotten off my 93 Talon TSI on to my Delsol with the D16Y7 in it. My next question would be what all do I need to make that happen. And any precoution to not make my motor blow up lol. Any information is greatly appreciated An thank you for any future replies.

nah yo u wont b able to lol i have the 96 dx and im building up for the turbo kit but yea the talon tsi isnt even a honda so i highly doubt it would work bro, u would have to search for a d-series turbo kit bro!! i have the same motor also!!

you CAN use the talon turbo, you jest need a turbo manifold for a honda D-series motor that matches the turbo flange

yes you can use that turbo... the FAQs at the top of the force induction thread has all of the details and requirements to build your turbo kit.

Yeah I love how a d series turbo kit is 1000 less than a b series and the only difference is the manifold. That **** always cracked me up. Lots of people going d these days only downfall is the damn transmissions with those long gears

No there 1000 less but there about 2300 for a kit for a basic kit and goes up from there

How about my del sol? Its d16z6 turbo. but i have excessive catch can smoke. What should i start with to fix this problem? Already took the can out emptied it and cleaned it out, did an oil change. Its got a white milkish oil in the can. What would cause this?

blowby...excess crankcase pressure casing oil/gas to blow past the rings making the milkshake you are describing....more crankcase ventilation can help although perhaps the rings just are not getting a solid seal...have you run a compression test?

how quickly is the can filling? how is your catchcan setup? power levels? setup?

The can doesnt seem like its getting any oil at all. Its just all that "milkish gunk". My catch can is setup : 2ported hoses from valve cover to catch can, then 1 hose from catch can down to the back of the block. How can i get more crank case ventilation??
