turbo pipe questions for CRX pic request
Since the 1st gen DSM 'pipes' seem flexible. Can I use those style hoses for my piping.

Good looking out, do you mean the upper part of the lower part? I have a bypass in between and plan on running a bov w/ an 45 degree charge pipe. Will AEM pipes handle low boost?

i used my aem cai for the charge pipe and i got an adapter at autozone from 2/14 to 1 7/8 i think, to fit the dsm bov piping. then use the rubber hoses on the dsm to route it to the intercooler.

I'm trying to piece together a kit myself and have this exact intake. I was planning on using it as the after intercooler piping. For yours, you could replace the bypass valve with a rubber coupling. Or you could do what I'm going to do and mount a DSM BOV in between the upper and lower tubes with some couplings (the BOV is still attached to the stock tube). That way you only have fabricate the before intercooler piping. Depending on here you are mounting your intercoooler, it should work like a champ.
And don't worry about the intake tube failing because of pressure. That small diameter of pipe will take a lot more than any turbo can dish out. Trust me, I'm a pipeline engineer.

After the aem it goes to half of a u bend and the bov is mounted to that. From there it goes to a dsm ic. I don't have any pics of the bottom part though.

There is normally a port/nipple on the compressor of the turbo for the wastegate signal. The wastegate needs a boost signal from SOME source to open, else it'll stay closed all the time.
