has anyone here gotten their car tuned at turbo people in hastings, NY???????????????/ i've heard good things but i was wondering if anyone here has had any first hand experience w/them??? it's close to home, so if it's good ill get my AEM tuned there...

btw its a 01 turbo prelude on AEM EMS

Spetter has been doing cars forever. I have not had a car tuned by Job, but 3 of my friends have. 2 Accel DFI cars, one FAST car. They all run like butter.

A local street car up here gets tuned there and run's consistent 7.90's @ the local track...and drives on teh street more than i do with my honda

Thanks for replying guys... i know theyve been around 4 a long time... and i figured theyd be pretty good..

i delt with them for bout 12 years i know as far as dfi nobody will touch them aem is another story just make sure you have lots of patients and dont mind waiting

Honestly I don't think it matters. There are more 6 and 7 second turbo cars running Spetter tunes than I can even think about.

Yes Jared, they sponsored and tuned Gardellas civic.

i think they did. pretty much what iv been told by ever tuner ive talk to once you can tune one system you can tune them all. i mean it just a/f and ignition the other **** is just options

i agree. they have alot of experience, so tuning the AEM shouldnt be a big deal for them

yea but there is two reasons i asked

one....the powerfc has a special hookup to get it tor un on the laptop and you need the software to edit and log....only "power excel" shops get this ive been told by apexi

two...these "power excel" authorized shops are the only ones who apexi has certified to tune it...id hate for my car to blow up....i just want to be overly cautious

Good to see your running AEM EMS, because that's what they push to sell. Every time I go there and talk to chase, he tells me how I should put the AEM standalone on my car. . . .

But yea, job is awsome. . .
