Default To turbo or not to turbo

I own a built B16a. I had a friend of mine build it with all motor in mind. Being a novice, I had 11:5.1 Endyn pistons installed, with TunerToy connecting rods. It was honed .5mm over. Right now, its currently making a measly amount of torque with Stage 3 cams (a very bad choice). Im set on getting a set of Brian Crower Turbo cams.

My question: Since ITRs are about the same compression, would it be safe to use a small turbo on this setup considering I do have forged internals? How much power would I make? Am I comprimising reliability?

you could probably get away with it. what kind of fuel setup are you running? engine management? make sure you get someone who really knows what they are doing when you get it tuned....the tuner will either make or break that motor

Youll be fine with a good safe tune. I dont see why you cant make 300+whp with it safely.
