to turbo or not to turbo?
I have a stock 94 CX and a friend of mine has a small turbo (mazda 626) and i was thinkin about putin together a ghetto turbo. would the d15b8 be able to hold boost as a daily driver. it would never exceed 6psi, in fact that is a maximum i would run. just curious if u think the engine would hold up.

unknown because of a guage cluster swap, but it doesnt burn oil and seems mosly sound. pedals dont have much wear so i doubt the milage is too high.

everyone says that they will only boost 5 or 6 psi...i said it to...then the first thing they buy after install is a boost controller...if you treat it good and dont up the boost like crazy you should be good...but youll be tempted.

First: Do a compression test and report back
Second: Do a leak down test if you feel that you leak coolant, oil, or blow smoke anywhere
Third: If those 2 check out boost away on a good tune and proper maitenance and you'll be fine
