I want to run 8 pounds of boost on my daily driver (99 GSR) . I am going to build the motor with forged rods, and pistons. I may get it sleeved, but not if I dont have to. Is sleeves overkill for just 8 lbs ? What size turbo should I get ? I dont really care about spool time as long as I have some massive top end. I was thinking aobut a turbonetics t3t04e, but what size trim, ar ? Fuel management will be 440cc, walbro pump, and AEM EMS.

forget rods/pistons/sleeves if you're running only 8 pounds. a good tuning with the EMS should be sufficient.

For 8 psi you don't really even need to replace your EOM rods and pistsons.

I wanted to get the rods and pistons for peace of mind I guess. I dont have loads of money to be spendings on rebuilds/new motors so I figured I would build it strong the first time. What wheel, trim, ar should I get though ? I am looking to make atleast 250WHP

Save your money on the rods + pistons. 8 pounds of boost tuned with an EMS will be fine. THe guys you see blowing their stock blocks are usually guys trying to run 12 on a stock block with the VAFC hack.
