Turbo kit on, car starts, now questions
I just got done with the install of a greddy turbo kit on my '00 d16y7 and she fired right up. I converted to obdI and went with hondata. As soon as the car started, I threw a CEL, let the car run for 30 seconds and turned it off. I then reset the ECU, fired her up, threw a CEL again almost right away along with the SRS light coming on. I didn't check the code for the CEL yet, but could it be that my secondary o2 sensor is not plugged into anything? I thought that obdI didn't look for a secondary o2. Any ideas why the SRS light would come on? Thanks,

You are correct. Once you go obd2 you should not throw a CEL if you do not run a secondary 02 sensor. It very well could be something to do with either vacuum lines or the map sensor. Pull the code and tell us what it is and we can further evaluate the problem.
