Turbo Install PICS and have a couple Q's
Day 1
What a Pain in the ***
Some questions though
Im not sure as to what Hoses go where right now. I think i knwo but not 100 %
Some INFO much Needed. Just need to hook up the FMU,BOV Wastegat and OIL Line and then im done.
wasnt good enough so we had to shave some more
Had to cut the hell outta the fan and i havent even gotten the turbo in yet. Will today though No problem. I should have gotten the NO AC manifold since i ended up tossing the AC anyway dammit. Would have looked and been so much easier.
I just need to know where all the hoses from the Turbo.BOV.WG go to and from as i dont have or cant find any good pics. HELP PLEASE

Thanks anf yeah i know the engine bay is dirty. Im gonna clean the hell outta it when im done
is there any way somone could post a diagram or pics of how it the Lines and hoses should look?
i got a couple but cant really see to much. How mant times can u tee off everything. So the BOV goes to a vacccum source. The wG goes to a vaccum source so can i tee those both together .

Also
i seen 2 lines come off the WG and sometimes see 1 line. I know the Top line go to the vaccum source which is porbalbly the FPR source. Does the 2nd line go to the turbo and if so where to and WHY?
Aslo
I heard of guys using some sorta T-line thing where u can have like 4-5 Differen t Lines coming off 1 tee. Where can i get this at. I searched a thread earleir and people mentioned how u can Tee off the same vaccum source and no problmes where others ay u might get a problem. I just dont want a bunch of lines going everyhwere then again i dont want a bunch of lines bunched up. Damn what the best thing to do it peoples opinions.

Re: Turbo Install PICS and a lil Help!!! (Kutsuju_SLeePER)
Golden Eagle or Mcmaster Carr (McMaster cheaper) make the multi port thing your talking about. It goes in line from the LARGE vac line coming off the intake manifold. From it you can hook up all vacuum lines needed.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but if you dont' want to buy that thing, you can tee all lines off same source if you really wanted to, since its a pressurized system??? But I wouldn't tee all off of same source unless you by the McMaster vac box thing. (sorry don't know what its called)
p.s. one of the lines from the wastegate goes to turbo, that's how the wastegate controls amount of boost turbo sees.

what kind of wastegate do you have??? that will depend on how you run your vacume lines...correct me if im wrong but it depends on if you have it set up as a deltagate or what. Mine just connects to the turbo for boost. As for your guage any vacume source will work.

Re: Turbo Install PICS and a lil Help!!! (hooked_up_gsr)
I have a TIAL WG and HKS SSBOV.
We got the FMU installed and Tee off to the FPR. the Fuel lines are doen now. We just need to Install the BOV but on the HKS, its a pain in the *** to get the ring over the base of the BOV. and need to install the TIAL wg. problem is that the WG is to tall so must lay it down or something. I have a dumptube as well but if i lay it down, then i cant use it. That sucks

The tial is too tall for most integras. So people have been having to get an elbow made so it goes away from the manifold and like turns down. But then your downpipe would be not used able with out some working

Re: Turbo Install PICS and a lil Help!!! (ghettocrxsi)
Ok since i dont have a Manual boost controller of any type. I can run the TIAL without having to have a line coming from the top right? And the side vent from the TIAL goes to the turbo right? Does anyone have any goos setup PICS or anything i can use to base this off of?

Thanks. Only took like 15 min to put it on. All we had to do was drill a hole in each tab and used the holes from the Bumper support. Wish everythign else was that easy
