Turbo H22a CRX
Hello H-T.. My h22 Has Darton sleeves eagle rods and 9.0:1 JE pistions. The balance shafts are eliminated. The head has been rebuilt oem with the Skunk2 tuner series package(got head in a trade). The intake and head have been port matched to eachother. I have a Aem FPR and my Wally for fuel delivery. I want to use my 60 trim Garrett turbo. It will tuned and ran with Hondata s300.
My question is will the Garrett be to big and alot of lag? What Size brand injectors would be best? And are there and other things I need to consider before I get this project driving. Sorry if I sound noobish I am here to learn.

As n3va said you can find most of this in either the FAQs or by searching. You're asking opinion questions so you're going to get varied answers. A quick spooling turbo for some people might not be the same to others so all you can do is try it as stated. Same thing with the injectors, and we can't tell you a proper size with out a power goal.

Re: Turbo H22a CRX
Without a power goal, there's no way to tell you whether or not that turbo is too big/small. Furthermore, there's no sense in recommending injectors since the sizing is based on your non-existent power goal. At any rate, a 60trim isn't a very big turbo and shouldnt be excessively laggy but that depends what you're comparing it against...
Without some detail, dont expect to get good answers

Re: Turbo H22a CRX
Turbochargers are not rated by pressure level, they are rated by volume/flow-rate in correlation with a horsepower range (depending on displacement and supporting mods).
That's like saying my GT3076R is only good up to 20psi, then is just stops working. Just stops. Does not work at 21psi..... or even 20.5psi.

I would love to put down a Solid 350hp. I am sorry for sounding like a 12 year with questions. I will leave now.

You have a really solid start with the built H22. I.D. 1000 injectors for sure, your turbo and fuel pump will be fine.
Its hard to do a search for a lot of things to do with the Honda world. It was easy to find solid reliable info for my Mustang or Lightning. Honda forums are full of misinformation and conflicting or flat out wrong opinions mainly because of the Honda owner demographic. I bet 99% of the current post are asking questions that have already been covered and beat to death. Just stick with good respected brands and get a good tune at the end and you should be fine.

I would get a .63ar 50 trim turbo, super fast spooling. Will easily put down 350 the wheels, you could get a little over 400 with it, maybe more with your H22. But since you have forged internals and are sleeved, why not shoot for ~500whp, where ever your fuel pump and clutch will take you?

**** ANY t3 turbo on a H22 The t3 Hotside just chokes them out on top... ESPECIALLY with sub par manifolds.
I made 760 WHP on a stock set of JDM cams the last 2 years on a T04ZR 67MM DBB garrett. sleeved and built, stock ports. S2 PS mani, FIC 1150s (Better bang for the buck than the IDs and same ****** core)
**** Made 620 WHP/455 TQ on a Wallbro 255HP and stock lines with a PT6176 and T4 .68 hotside. Car was a **** ton of fun and made over 512/380 at 17-18 PSI on pump 92 WITH STOCK DIZZY
This year, new motor, big cams, ported to **** and a 6766. 800 + EASY out the old Accord
Id say a 6262 at least with a .68 T4 housing... Its a H22, Lag? **** lag.... Its not a D16 with vitaras man

Re: Turbo H22a CRX
Well since we are changing his build before its been run, ditch those 9.0:1 slugs and get 11.0:1. Make more power out of boost to compensate for the Borg Warner s372. Also gonna wanna go the h2b route to have more gear ratio options.
Btw MemphisCrx, I'm being sarcastic. I don't think you should get rid of anything you have. Get at least 1000 cc injectors and have a reputable tuner give it some candy.
