Turbo gurus help me out please.
Hey guys im really at the end of my rope here, i am almost 1000.00 bucks into trying to fix this oil leak and nothing is fixing it. let me give you the details, my turbo is a gt35r i noticed a while back it was seeping oil around the gap on the comp housing where you clock it, and the oil was getting flung by the wind and what not back onto my valve cover and up on the hood. so i took the turbo to blouch and they said it was probably the CHRA was worn and needed replaced so i payed the 822.00 for a new CHRA and went back to the track, now please note it only does this at the track after full 21 psi passes. any way it still did the same thing, so i called blouch and they said maybe it was to much crank case pressure, so all i had was the endyn block kit so i took my valve cover and had two -12 an bungs welded and used 3/4 inch hose and ran to my catch cans, i also changed my oil from royal purple to regular 10/30 castrol gtx and went back to the track and its still doing it, so im stumped what do i do next? blouch told my my restrictor is the proper size and my drain is nice and large , -10 AN i think and no kinks nice down hill gradual bend to the pan, the bung on the pan is welded about a inch from the top and being i have a top mount mani its all a down hill slope. has any one ever had this issue? im worried the oil will cause detonation and muck up my IC and pipes ect ect.

That sounds very weird. I just got done fixing most of my problem on a 35R. Mine was due to a restrictive return line, but with yours being a topmount, I don't see how that could be the issue at all. How is your oil pressure? Make sure you're not running to much oil in the system also. Even when mine leaked oil, it never "sprayed" like yours. Take a picture of the return line. Don't give up, I know it's frustrating!
